Btw, how awesome is Tikolo?

As long as Mortaza gets most wickets for Bangladesh, a multi of mine paying over $300 will work out thanks to the great Tikolo (and RtD)

Tikolo would get into every test team apart from Australia and South Africa IMO.He is that good a player from what I'm seen of him.

Tikolo's doosra to dupe Joyce was quality. :D

As close to a professional performance as we're ever going to get I'd say. A potential banana-skin negotiated.

Even if most of our runs were scored by a Mick & a Yarpie...

Taking it a bit far, IMO. Wouldn't make the India team, or the Pakistan team, or the Sri Lanka team, or the England team. West Indies and Bangladesh yes, New Zealand maybe.

Maybe but I still think IMO he's that good a player that he could definetly get into those sides you mentioned. He'd almost certainly be in the NZ test side IMO and maybe in India's instead of Laxman or Yuvraj.

Or Sachin, I'm sure Steve would be able to score runs of Paul Harris (and Shaun Udal)...

Not a chance. Yuvraj and Laxman are a hell of a lot better than Tikolo.

Jeez, talk about over-reacting. Tikolo is a good player but he isn't even close to being as good as you're making out - he averages 30 odd in ODIs and 50 odd in FC cricket (which he plays primarily against other associates, mind you) - really nothing extraordinary. Laxman is a quality test batsman and seems to be disgracefully under-rated by some on this forum, and Yuvraj won't be in the team so mentioning him is pointless.

How is it? Both Yuvraj and Laxman have proven themselves against some of the very best attacks in world cricket, whearas Tikolo hasn't really.

English don't play pretty ODI cricket but they can be rather effective with their dogged, and surprisingly quite clinical approach - that is when they, as a unit, click.

Maybe I am overacting a tad but I still think judging by his innings today that he is a fine, fine player. One of the great shames that he can't play test cricket.I guess we'll never know how good he could have become at the highest level....
