I can just imagine that post being displayed on the poll for next weeks Greig, with people saying what a fool I was for saying that

Collingwood.
I'm sorry, but Collingwood, as effective as he may be - which he is, no doubt, and really good for him - is dreadful to watch. Really, that awful backlift and that ridiculous slog to mid-on make me cringe every time.

The only person with uglier batting is Paul Nixon.

Pietersen and Trescothick are in a different class altogether - Pietersen being England's best batsmen in all forms of the game by just about a light-year.

That has nothing to do with my point. Aesthetics do not make a good player.

And I'd actually much rather watch Collingwood than Pietersen. That one legged flick thing that he does every single bloody ball looks ridiculous.

1) Most people who enjoy watching cricket would beg to differ.

2) If you go by statistics, Pietersen is far superior as well. So by objective AND subjective measure, he's better.

Davison very lucky there hitting mididdle half way up. Terrible umpiring from Peter Parker

Although a bit inconsequential under the circumstances England's performance has been terrible. The top order failed again and the opening bowling was poor - Anderson's action especially looks prone to inconsistency.

If they don't improve I can see Kenya turning them over as they will be playing on this same slow low wicket which England just havn't adjusted to yet.

England have been very ordinary today. A real opportunity for a statement game. Instead they batted far too slowly until close to the end and the bowlers still cant bowl one side of the wicket. Of course they will win this game and beat Kenya, but its not looking as dominating as it should.

England Bowling and in parts their batting has been really average today. I hope that we improve in the kenya game

Of course we should win this one

it was the right decision to drop Flintoff

I'm not sure they will easily beat Kenya TBH.Judging by this performance and the fact that Kenya are a much stronger side then Canada I defenitely wouldn't take that game for granted.
