Seriously, Watson isn't bowling any better than Mike Hussey would at the moment. He may have recovered from his injury enough to bowl but he clearly hasn't done enough bowling training of late to bowl in this match. Ponting should have spotted this in the nets and in the match against the West Indies.. or at least after the first bloody over he bowled in this game FFS.

Never thought I'd ever, ever, ever say this but we definitely should have seen a lot more of Hauritz in the last couple of games.

How cool if that shot had gone for six. SL have got the special innings at the top that they needed. Now they need to keep their cool and get the win. Like Chappeli said they will go to a ridiculously easy group with probably an easy road to the semis.

I actually thought he bowled pretty okay against the WI. But just about well enough to bowl in a couple of the middle overs with some canny changes of pace. Not in the powerplay at the most critical point of the match.

Surely not? Will be huge if Aust win from here (though you think it'd have to be a close win anyway)

Lankans have a tail like a rat tho. Two or three wickets and it'd be interesting.

These two stay in and it'll be a stroll.

Have the Aussies grasped the fact it's a spinner's wicket in time? Maybe Bracken can bowl his little cutters too?
