He may have recovered from his injury enough to bowl but he clearly hasn't done enough bowling training of late to bowl in this match. Ponting should have spotted this in the nets and in the match against the West Indies.. or at least after the first bloody over he bowled in this game FFS.

I actually thought he bowled pretty okay against the WI. But just about well enough to bowl in a couple of the middle overs with some canny changes of pace. Not in the powerplay at the most critical point of the match.
