Group B - Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Bermuda

i really didnt think that the climax to the grp stages would be this good and nerve-racking TBH! But, i think its just made the WC a lot more interesting....Thats wat India were thinking of when they lost to bangladesh....well done india! 8-)

India wiining today will change everything and if they can get it then, they have got immense chances suddenly, if they lose then home fans will be very furious. But, I could see a lot of second thing happening than the first

Just 1 hour to go and I want SRL to win. Come on Jaya! Bang the IND bowleers as Ricky did in 2003 final

I like the bowl first.

There is a little less uncertainty for the batsmen who have a tendency to implode, especially against this strong Sri Lankan bowling attack.

A thought occurs to me from watching that first ball - any bowler could get a hatful of wickets by cultivating an away-swinger that pitches leg stump and straightens. Because so many batsmen, as soon as they pick up a leg stump line, just walk across the stumps to get the wide. That seems to be preferable to playing it through the on side.

The legendary AA on fire in his first over. Swing at decent pace and should have had an LBW given 1st ball

Interesting to see the head-to-head stats there. 49-36 to India in all ODIs but 9 no-results in 94 matches seems rather a high proportion. I assume that doesn't include the '96 semi-final.
