Amazing stuff from Vaas. Murali to clean up here, SA won't get past 200.
Kallis and de Valliers getting a 50 partnership, so it could be possible as they will pick up their pace later on in the innings.

I wouldn't be so sure about that [the "not getting past 200" bit].

There's plenty of batting to come (Boucher, Kemp and Pollock), with DeVilliers and Kallis both capable of making some serious runs.

Personally, I HATE Kallis, and hope he goes into his "I'm batting to protect my own average" mode, to the detriment of the team NRR. Which'd be nice ;)

Why do you hate Kallis?

Kallis gone, 110-4. Stumped, beautiful ball by Jaya, Kallis comes down the track and defends for some reason, and makes no attempt to go back into the crease and is stumped. Didn't even need to be refered to the third umpire.

I just do!

Maybe it's because he always looks so damn smug...or maybe it's because so many of his good performances have come against the teams I support (SL and Eng). It's probably more to do with the fact that he's just never struck me as a team player, to be honest.

It's not exactly rational :)

To be fair, many have your opinion on him. Its a common perception of his. I can see where people come from, but I don't believe that he's like that. I just think he's changed his game as he's become a better batsman because if you watch some knocks of Kallis in the 90s, he used to smash it around a fair bit back then.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz another terrible cricket wicket - roll your arm over, the slower the better

Gosh this is crap! (BTW, substitue whatever word you like for "gosh")

Great fielding indeed.

It's now 145-5 as a result of the catch by Mahroof, which was a great catch.

Great bowl by Jayasuriya to get Kemp.

Can't praise this fielding effort enough. Best since Australia.

Haven’t been able to catch all of today’s game but I don’t think South Africa have a pray. Looks a decent batting wicket, hardly any turn for the spinners and the bounce has been pretty consistent. It possibly get slower and lower but South Africa really should have got at least 250.
