Tbh love that associates are finally getting some platform. Every world cup should have 20 teams here on
20 is good imo. Any more and you’d have too many Omans for England to stomp and build their NRR against.

T20 is very different from longer versions. Shorter the game, higher the variance. Being competitive at T20s means nothing re Test cricket.

Yeah but they actually look up to it. Unlike some better teams, they are coherent units that have the basics down pat. And (agreeing with you) they won't be competitive at test level, but hey there's only one way to change that – and a promotion is certainly not undeserved for the likes of Scotland.

More importantly they need to actually get to play Test cricket though. Ireland and Afghanistan might as well have never even been given the status at this point.
