Wasnt that boring between Mcgrath and tendulkar???? i know mcgrath is boring but tendulkar should have taken some risk, i was waiting for tendulkar to be more aggressive and come down the track or something, in the end tendulkar mananged less then what he averages against Mcgrath and lee.

Funny to see Ponting bristle at Rameez's comment about Australia being not very used to do or die situations. Every final is do or die, mate. (Plus, the Aussies tend to do pretty well in those situation in general.)

Not a bad call from Dravid at the toss, IMO. Probably having flashbacks to the WC final in '03 being over before they'd even batted. Even though the conditions aren't quite so batting friendly, I think India are better off trying to put together a substantial total and exerting pressure on the Aussies chasing.

Great stuff from Pigeon. Just a guy you can really count on, no matter what the conditions. Not bowling anywhere near as short as he was earlier in the tournament, either.

What are your comments on Ramesh Powar's exclusion? I say it's absolutely foolish.

They've got Dinesh Mongia at three, and he's hogging the strike without scoring too many, and there's even more pressure on an out-of-form (but returning) Sehwag to step up the scoring rate. When the power plays are on, you'd expect the batsmen to score at a quicker rate, but we don't see that happening.

Yes I am really disappointed in Mongia

I don't think Watson so much missed a sitter there, in the runout attempt - it would have been fairly easy to miss - but I reckon he probably could have just outran Sehwag to the stumps. Hope it won't be too costly a mistake.
