Anything is possible no doubt, but surely corruption would have to be seriously rare these days? Why would the players who make a dream salary,
and who would only be well aware of the negative infractions should the ''plan'' not go to script, have anything to do with fixing?
Of course you can never rule it out, but seems like there's too much paranoia about the whole issue.

Not many players actually make a dream salary. Particularly in BPL or PSL

Tamim and Mushfiqur retired from this format. Mushfiqur sucked for a while before he retired. Not sure about Mahmudullah. Assuming he must be retired too or the management felt he isn't suited for this format.

Taskin Ahmed has a variation ball that's a straight up chuck. He cleverly doesn't bowl it very often and because he's a quick (and probably because he's from Bangladesh) people don't really see it as a different delivery. Really should be reported.

Bowls this variation a lot these days tbh.
