I have a fair bit of sympathy for Giles, having to make a competitive international side out of the pie-chickers, and flat track bulleys that our domestic game produces nowadays. Not to mention the abysmal standard of fielding that we're regularly seeing from guys who make it into the national side. Silk purse and sows ears, and all that.to be fair i suppose the dew will make life diffiucult for the fielders but it wasnt England's usual standard today. I really cant say what is stopping these guys doing well tbh-apart from Giles as coach- personally i have never rated him and being a team man and a nice guy isnt enough imho to get the job..i agree with the sky sports commentators here that Mahela should have been given out, howvere hey havent mentioned that Kushal shouldn't have been given out too.
First over specialist, just have to make sure you catch the start of each innings. Was kinda looking forward to seeing a bit of Moeen Ali actually
Turdbach is in the team. As a regular. That alone should be enough reason to have no sympathy whatsoever.I have a fair bit of sympathy for Giles, having to make a competitive international side out of the pie-chickers, and flat track bulleys that our domestic game produces nowadays. I can only assume he's being given as much rest as possible from the oneday versions of the game to keep him playing test cricket as long as possible.England do weird things in T20. Like how Anderson doesn't play. It was a genuine thing back in 2010, when you could see how everyone else in the bowling attack contributed more, but it's just a parody now.
Lighten up. Your boi is treating Malinga as if he's Jade Dernbach. An over that should have disappeared. Rubbish. Buttler really hasn't done anything in every meaningful match I can remember.
