Just on pure bowling, I think Starc still wins as a odi bowler, mainly because he brings something different to the bowling line-up if it has Mcgrath, Garner and Saqlain/Murali pencilled in. Pollock will give a sameness to the attack.

But as a number 8 and good ODI bowler, Pollock can get over him.
Then with that "something" Lee is light years ahead of him.

My first choice ODI bowling lineup would be McGrath, Wasim, Garner, Lee and Murali
The Second choice attack would be Pollock, Hadlee, Ambrose, Imran and Saqlain

Not much between the 2 attacks, but the 1st one has a terrible tail (Wasim 7, Lee 8) while the other has Imran, Pollock, Hadlee as 7-9.

Have one or maybe two decent teams one is poor against is forgiveable. Sucking against three top teams is an outright disqualifier for best ever, regardless of NZ record.
