Great to see Ross Gregory picked. Debuted at 21 prewar, averaged 51 across 2 games, then KIA as a RAAF officer flying over India/Bangladesh

Ive debated who to pick in the first game and just found it too close to call.

BoyBrumby

Englishman
Teuton
Milenko
Marcuss

First one is an especially stiff shout, both probably have stronger bowling than batting (as, I guess, fits the parameters of the draft), but I think Teuton probably shades the batting on depth with Buttler a better #7 than Dave Richardson.

It's very informative this, as I've had to trip over to cricinfo more than once to see who some of the players selected were. Some of the Indian players in the Marcuss/morgs match-up were really unlucky never to get an international shout, if their FC records are any guide.

Useful little average, that. Bastard son of Bishan Bedi?!
India decided all their states including the minor counties equivalents had FC status and needed 'proper' teams. So a bunch of new teams formed a new division and it led to stuff like this 33yo suddenly having a first class career, where he captained the side and spent the season cleaning up with bat and ball. Absolute inspiration to the middle aged everywhere tbh. Hero.
