The Darters were gifted runs from the outset, and never looked back, as their batsmen feasted on placid bowling from the Foxes. Paddy Gundry got four wickets, but the flighty spin was costly, as was all the bowlers. Dawlat Ameer and Chris Naik took the game away from the Foxes with their stand of 122, and by the end, the total read 356 for 8; Rich Langley had also chipped in with six fours and two sixes in a thundering 46. The Foxes had opener Prestwidge perish by the outside edge with the second ball of the game, and though Nixonstown tried to keep the run rate up, there were cheap wickets on offer. Eventually, they crashed to 111, with Dave Comley taking three wickets and Langley bowling a tidy spell of 10-5-9-2.

The Panthers dug themselves out of a hole at 40 for 3, as they exploited the lack of bowling depth at de Grooters. Sean Fuller played a lovely, well-paced 85 to cover for Pete Young and Dinusha deSilva's failures with the bat, and the lower order entertained the crowd with late slogs. Bhadauria then got a wicket with the first ball of the match for the Panthers, and after a massive effort from Sukhvinder he smashed to Jacob for 54 in the 13th over. However, rank bowling from Sean Fuller was punished, and as no one could keep the run rate down de Grooters smacked the required runs in just 37 overs. Kenny Dobson hit eighteen fours and three sixes on his way to making the highest score of the match, 119.

Travis Demeza took five wickets, and Cribb bowled difficult leg breaks, yet the Jets still made it to 305 for 7 against the Tigers after Prabhakar Rao hit a stunning 132. His innings was crucial, as early breakthroughs from Demeza had threatened to unsettle the whole of the Jets' innings. However, due in large parts to Cribb and Ben Haddin, that target was not enough - Cribb hit 84 off 95, while Haddin hit eleven fours and one six en route to a stunning 75 and a five-wicket win.

Despite a good spell mid-innings, there was another huge score at the Riverside. Batting first, the Titans made 331, with Ben Wilshere hitting 38 off just 11 balls, and there were three half-centuries. Edfield looked to be cruising at 222 for 3, but intelligent bowling changes turned the game around, and Dolphin became the unlikely hero with four for 53.

Late slogging from Andy Blackman brought the Braves' total to 284 for 6 at the CWBCC after the Sharks had kept it reasonably tight early on. However, Blackman hit 12 fours and three sixes in the last ten overs, going from 19 to 92 as the Braves plundered 107 in ten overs. The chase was close, including an 86-run sixth-wicket partnership between Edmondson and Gregory which took the Sharks to the brink, but part-timer McEwan broke the spell as Edmondson inside edged for 61. Earlier, Jadeja had taken three wickets for the Braves in a tight spell, and with five overs to go the Sharks needed 44 with Das and Richards at the crease. Das hit eight off the first over, exposing Adam Collins' slower ball, but Chattha took two crucial wickets to close out the 47th over. Collins conceded eight in the 48th before Das ended the innings with a lovely run out, bringing eight points to Campsfield.
