Generation Draft

Too many good options this round. Decided to go for a player I like a fair bit and who would give my team a touch of artistic flair combined with a gritty presence at the crease.

Team so far:

Gordon Greenidge
Archie MacLaren
Rahul Dravid
George Headley
C.B Fry
Charles Bannerman
Alan Knott+
Mike Proctor
Hugh Trumble
Alec Bedser
Frank Tyson

Just such an awesome team. Love that bowling attack and a magisterial batting line up.

Steyn > Donald: Fredfertang approved decision

I'm happy about this for reasons I'm not entirely clear on
Yes, but the reverse for me. Donald in many ways the ultimate fast bowler, a truly wonderful action and blistering pace allied with hostility and skill. Steyn a high class bowler but of lesser pace, an action which by contrast is ugly and cramped, and a face like an irritated rat.

That's a truly gun team. I am sure you will get a good second opener too in the next round.

dudes I am at work now and accessing CW is bad enough and then to choose two ATG players to fit my ATXI would be a little too much to ask.

I'll choose later in the evening

C'mon smalishah. I have made near every pick from my iPhone. You know how hard it is to lookup multiple Cricinfo profiles, ensure the player hasn't been selected, and then post on CW all from a small handheld device?

You do realise it's nearly impossible for smali to make a post that isn't , right?

I laughed that he typed an entire paragraph explaining that he will pick later.

What's the plan with this draft? Straight to votes at the end of round 12? Prefer we kick on rather than go through selecting a ground/pitch type/brand of soft drink. Most drafts die towards the end and we have a good interest to lead into the voting.
