Gavaskar an atg opening batsman.

Pollock, an under rated pace bowler who can bat. Legendary partnership with Donald.

He was closer to the elite than Pollock was.

Fewer great ATG openers than pacers, especially in Polly's era

Batting : Kapil >> Pollock

Bowling : Pollock >>> Kapil



Kapil Dev was better than his batting average suggested.

Shaun Pollock was a useful lower order batsman and played with lots of grit and determination.

Kapil was a good bowler whereas Pollock is one of the all time greats and an easy pick for me.
