I can really see Italy in the one day arena in the next 8 years... There is lots of talent, and mainly Italians playing the game... (about 20% are indians, srilankans, aussies and englishmen). The only problem is funding... To grow all major grounds should have turf (most play on astro-turf, in Serie A and junior cricket mainly on flicxs or cocunut mats), but keeping in good conditions a green top is very expensive...
