Being associated with Ricky Ponting would be an embarrassment to any right-minded human. Vaughan isn't one though.

It's crazy, from Christmas 1928 to March 1934 he averaged 75, yet he couldn't get the Number 1 spot off Sutcliffe or Bradman!!

He (Hammond) was ranked the #1 all-rounder for quite a while, though.

I have noticed a mistake in Wisden bowlers list . It lists Mushtaq Ahmed being ranked no.1
But according to ICC rankings, he was never ranked No.1 . Who knows there might be other mistakes too.
