Pops galore in the youth squad

One bat to capable (only poor tech though)
One bat to reasonable (same - which means a 16yo takes about 10 weeks to pop in batting with satisfactory youth academy)
One bat to reasonable endurance
One bat to average endurance
One swing bowler to ordinary tech (dreadful endurance)
Dutch bowler to ordinary bowling

Bit of a popfest.

17yo to capable bat
17yo average bat now has ordinary technique
18yo to average bat (has solid other attributes, will make my seniors side)
17yo ordinary bowler now has poor technique
18yo to ordinary bat (grooming them into a lower order slogger/good fielder)
18yo to reasonable bat
17yo to reasonable bowl
17yo to ordinary bat

So now I have 3 reasonable bats (one is a reasonable keeper), 1 capable bat, 3 reasonable bowlers in my Youths. There's also a 17yo capable bowler in my seniors.

Scaly Piscine CC defeated The Highlanders by 277 runs

My youth team is a bit too specialised (ie no all-rounders) but has some pretty nice players otherwise. Fortunately my senior side has an abundance of an all-rounders, so it should all come together nicely when this current generation filter through into the senior side.

My youth squad, but with only 3 of my 4 reasonable bowlers, as i forgot to redo my orders. With him i doubt it would have risen much, as my middle order and tail would drop a bit.

Can't really see your squad properly when you just copy and paste it like that, but you should look at your youth side and see if there are any 18yos who could be promoted. You basically want around 18 players (you can have up to 20) in your senior squad early on because your players have weak endurance and you need to rotate your side between 20 over and 50 over fixtures or fatigue will soon start to bite.

Technique seems to be a lot more important in FTP than Battrick's concentration/consistency etc. - nearly as important as the primary batting/bowling skill. Experience is also fairly important.

Oh and I just bowled Swamibapa CC out for 50...
