Hard pitches still seem to be pretty broken on FTP, is why I stopped playing youth matches on them despite having 3 fast bowlers.

The match is just ambling along at the moment. I'm not scoring anywhere near fast enough to worry you when you bat anyway. Eime is a finisher though, so hopefully he can score a quick one.

Gibbs is the only one with realistic figures along the lines of what you'd expect.

Duncan & McFarlane's are a joke.

The plodding ****e bowlers are effective when they should be just cannon fodder on this pitch.

End of over 3 (2 runs) - Scaly Piscine CC(12-2). 263 runs required from 47 overs. RR 4.00 RRR 5.60
S. Shillingford 1 (2b) , A. Yatawara 1 (3b) , M. Bagshaw 2-0-6-1

Not a bad start for me.

The game's a complete joke.

McFarlane bowls at the death and still only goes for 3.5 from 10 overs. Good conditions for my seam attack against a nothing batting lineup and only one of them turns up.

Now watch this shower of plodders bowl me out.

Nothing batting lineup? Fair enough....

You've got this in the bag anyway, wouldn't be throwing the toys out of the pram just yet.

Yea right. Complete crock of ****.

My batsmen crawl at 4 an over for half of the innings against the sort of bowling attack that would go for 350+ every single game on a hard pitch.

If a team had turned up with a bowling attack like that on a traditional WACA pitch they'd be giving out millions in danger money to the spectators.

I thought Ash would have more of a clue about hard pitches than this.

Except you don't because I had a 4th seamer who would obviously drop the ratings, my seamers have better endurance which isn't really reflected in ratings. My seamers are FMs and Fs which are better than FMs and Ms.

Code:
 End of over 16 (18 runs) - Dai-Gurren Brigade(167-1) RR 10.44
K. Maingot 85 (46b) , D. Johns 48 (28b) , W. Reid 2-0-30-0
15.6	2	Reid to Maingot : Maingot has stood tall and punched that through cover point, 2 runs.
15.5	4	Reid to Maingot : Maingot plays it down to the vacant third man area. 4 runs.
15.4	4	Reid to Maingot : Reid bounces him, but down leg, and Maingot confidently hooks that down to fine leg for four. That's a great cricketing shot.
15.3	1	Reid to Johns : Short delivery and Johns powerfully pulls it behind square leg. He got on top of the bounce nicely.
15.2	6	Reid to Johns : Johns uses brute strength to smash the ball several rows into the crowd. You don't get guns like that cherry picking.
15.1	1	Reid to Maingot : Maingot takes a big stride forward and opens the face of the bat while defending to just guide the ball wide of 2nd slip and moves off for a single. Clever batting.
End of over 15 (26 runs) - Dai-Gurren Brigade(149-1) RR 9.93
D. Johns 41 (26b) , K. Maingot 74 (42b) , R. Young 2-0-39-0
14.6	6	Young to Johns : 6 runs! Johns has his mum in the crowd, what a show off.
14.5	2	Young to Johns : Sensible cricket by Johns. A full pitched ball and he's just knocked it back past Young. Mid-off runs round to cut it off but the batsmen pick up 2.
14.5	nb4	Young to Johns : Too short from Young and Johns punished him. One bounce and over the rope.
14.4	4	Young to Johns : Poor ball that just sits up begging to be spanked. Johns duly obliges with a brutal drive to the fence.
14.3	1	Young to Maingot : Oooh... Young had Maingot jumping around a bit there, nice and nippy off the wicket causing the ball to fly into Maingot's ribs, only a desperate flick of the bat preventing the sound of ball on bone.
14.2	4	Young to Maingot : Goes for the big expansive cover drive, but edges it past his stumps instead! Four runs, Young and Ross cannot believe it!
14.1	4	Young to Maingot : Flicked off his legs by Maingot behind square leg for four runs.
Love these two so much <3 Maingot has gone from being a shocking inconsistent player to being a badman in both forms, so gun

Posted 207 total, Maingot finished on 110* from 58 balls. His fourth T20 century of 110*, 113*, 111* and now 110*. Wish he wasn't so old. :(

Nice. I got ME ****ed as usual.

Apparently having lots of power and talents means you don't score quickly enough in T20 - particularly compared to a side that gets bowled out with 15 balls remaining, scores less than 100 and has **** all power.

I kept a team to 5/75 yesterday against a lineup of expert batsmen with no power and my bowlers suck. Yet I got 175 with good power against a lineup of expert bowlers with no power. So it seems about right.
