Beat Leeds United in Twenty20, so have eight straight wins in that form and 15 straight wins including the pavilion game. Newstead in fine form, scored 22* and took 5-9. Big knocks from Hill, Hatton and Archer too.

Playing a bot with a lot of my 2nd teamers.

End of over 4 (2 runs) - liquornpoker(10-3) RR 2.50
Perrins 5 (12b) , Grove 1 (1b) , Moysey 2-1-2-0

Cricketer Of The Year
That ends the innings of Swamibapa CC. 1991arsenal will have a target of 152 to chase.

On a flat deck in hot weather? Sub-standard

18 Mar 08 02:00 - Coming Next Season: Zimbabwe and Bangladesh Leagues
The FTP team are happy to announce that next season will see the introduction of Zimbabwe and Bangladesh as fully fledged nations with leagues of their own. Existing teams will be allowed to transfer to leagues in these new countries, and also to other countries.
Further details regarding team transfers will follow later this week.
Tempted to move to one of them, i reckon we should get a CW country going, choose one and everyone moves. Would be gun, a lot more fun than playing against random teams.

International Regular
End of over 37 (15 runs) - Zero Pillars and Hero Fillers(303-0) RR 8.19
Rangnekar 133 (104b) , Wates 165 (121b) , Hameen 3-0-28-0
That is the 300 partnership

First one for my team iirc.

Looks like Zimbabwe then.

EDIT:

37.3 4 Cafoor to Wates : Lovely shot through extra cover for four.
37.2 4 Cafoor to Wates : The captain comes over and starts muttering about line and length, one of those things that goes in one ear and out the other.
37.1 4 Cafoor to Wates : [misfield] Wettimuny reacts too slowly and Wates scores 4.

Wates with his eye on the double

Misses out, but scored 2/114 off the last 10 overs, so thats gun. Should win by 300, love bots.

End of over 40 (18 runs) - Zero Pillars and Hero Fillers(350-2) RR 8.75
End of over 30 (9 runs) - Zero Pillars and Hero Fillers(236-0) RR 7.87

Would rather move to Bangladesh then Zimbabwe. But really it not like Sri Lanka is overflowing with managers. Reckon you all should just move to Sri Lanka tbh.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
19 year olds don't get training in the youth squad, is that right? Should I promote my 19's (or my good ones, anyway)?
Am thinking I should, since my Senior team is being hit somewhat hard by fatigue. And the players would be better off receiving training there.

Do youth players (at 16/17/18) train faster in the Youth Team than in Senior if they were to be promoted at that age, or at the same rate? Because if it's the same, I'll probably promote my gun bowler.

Faster in youth team. (However, in senior they gain experience quicker.)

Pretty sure it is dependent on your investment levels, the rate they train.

Not investment levels, academy levels (which is dependent on investment, but theoretically you can have a good academy with zero investment one week). But, I quote:

"When considering promoting a youth player into your senior squad, there is an important tradeoff. Assuming your youth and senior academies are at the same level, a youth player will increase his skills through training at a slightly higher rate when in the youth academy. However, players gain more experience from playing in senior matches, and success in senior matches will earn you more revenue."

FTP Cup, round two:

Blackcaps: Brown, *Searcy, +Watson, Chappell, Lovett, Walkley, J Gray, King, Walters, Hitchcock, Blundell vs
Dynamo: Archer, McCauley, Jones, Hill, Hatton, +Britt, Newstead, *Burns, Kutcher, Guthrie, McRae

Dynamo opted to bowl. Expect Kutcher (67 wickets @ 17.61 in fifty-over cricket, 71 wickets @ 12.85 in all competitive cricket) to turn it square when he comes on in the 12th over.

11.1 W Kutcher to Searcy : Good length delivery, Searcy is clueless as he shoulders arms and the ball crashes into the off stump - as easy as it gets.
Searcy b. Kutcher 8 (21b 0x4 0x6) SR:38.10

First ball a wicket. Played Harold.

Blackcaps 25-3 at present. Hopefully won't chase more than 100.

Thinking about it thigh I find it strange that their matches start after UK's when Zimbabwe is actually 2 hours ahead of GMT
Suppose it is to avoid collision and to spread things out. When England goes to seven divisions they'll need the 11am startdate too.

Besides, it's not like they'll get any Zimbabweans living in the country

An okay start against Zero Pillars and Hero Fillers:

End of over 6 (5 runs) - Scaly Piscine CC(30-0) RR 5.00
Gardiner 14 (23b) , King 12 (14b) , Hallalaarachchi 3-0-16-0

Is a dusty pitch with windy conditions so I'm bowling 40 overs of spin later and have both my seamers on defensive.

Jaffna vs Swamibapa:

End of over 46 (9 runs) - Jaffna Jets(177-8). 27 runs required from 4 overs. RR 3.85 RRR 6.75
Ashok 21 (45b) , Deshapriya 5 (4b) , Shikuku 8-0-51-0

Gun finish. Swamibapa have Souza (24yo RF without endurance, presumably) from the one end. Jaffna's eight and ten clinging on.

Lost by three runs, well done andruid.

Should have played on dry/dusty pitch not slow. Oh well, the things you learn as go.
