Forgot to set my orders against the guy who is currently above me on the ladder in OD but will hopefully get him in the next match we play and be ahead on RR. Am slowly catching him each match.

Well, this didn't quite work out as planned. Lost to the guy above me in OD today playing at his home ground. Was ahead on match ratings 102000 to 95000 but lead in areas like tail-end batting and just in top order. The rest was pretty even, except he was quite a way ahead on spin bowling and it was very effective on a dry pitch. His two spinners took 8 wickets in my innings and it took a 10th wicket partnership of 60-odd to get me to 225. I then underbowled my spinners and lost by 5 wickets with 3 overs to go. Setting all of the middle order to 'attacking' like I had with the lower teams may have been a mistake too After an opening partnership (batsmen set to 'normal') of 90 we lost 9 for 70 before the final two made some runs.

Disappointing really, was expecting to get up after being a long way ahead on team ratings the past few weeks but will have to take second (and train a decent spinner for occasions like this). I do like the effect of the different pitches on FTP compared to Battrick though, makes you think a bit more.

Even by Bob's standards Kara is not an all-rounder.

Will struggle to do more than a typical Anderson/Steyn/Harmison type tailender unless he comes across a fast bowler on a sticky then they'll do well. Of course the flip side to that is if they come across a medium pacer on any pitch, then they'll be lucky to last an over.

I dont rate, or use him as an all rounder. He will be totally useless in the WC.

Well I got completely ME-****ed out of the T20 title, worse still the ****ing piece of total **** donated the title to Bongo. The day that guy genuinely earns a higher league position than me is the day hell freezes over.

Will be looking to hoard some money for a change I think. Sweet FA on the transfer market. Might just pick off bargains and so on - saw a few go by last season. If I get the chance I'll look out for an uber seamer, want to just go all out on uneven pitches all season and hopefully this time the dobbers won't be taking 5-fers for fun.
