Interesting that in one drawn game, the team following on declared when they were still in arrears. This would have meant a loss, not a draw. A little bug for Sri to iron out.
Graham what game was that???

Also South Australia were 199 ahead on the 1st innings against Yorkshire but choose not to enforce the follow on. Why???
Im assuming that Sriram has either set the follow on mark at 200 or its a go by the situation thing...

Cheers Blewy - just thought I'd point out a disproportionately high number of tied games. Another issue to pass on to Sri?
I'm not wishing to sound ungrateful to him because I know he put a lot of work into the sim, but I'm sure he'd want to know any shortcomings.

Wow for Auckland! Lost the first game, Lost by 1 run the next game and tied the next. That means I'll win the next one. :D

Very pleased with Plummer, Briers, Weekes and the rest of the youth contingent.

nsw happy with the 3 wins on the od form, 4d is a little worrying but we will fix that up.

wow...

Three wins and all batting second :O , something I didn't think my lineup was capable of. I'm also impressed by the proformance of my middle order. Often the top order might see us through to 100/1, 120/2 and then it would all turn to ****, but hopefully the stronger od batting line up I got at hand might prove useful :)

Also about the draws. In three seasons of od cricket, or 290 games to be presise (yes 290 is correct, I think), there has been only 1 draw, but 3 in 45, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

I had a look at the all the result, and although this might be such a bad thing, there seems to be an excess of upsets. ND beating Canterbury and Colts, even tieing with division one opposition. On VC4 the odds of this happening are very very slim. They have got some good players, but even with a batsmen like Cardew they shouldn't be able to match WA or Colts in OD. They just shouldn't...

liam i was having the same problem with you... just open the scorecards in IE. Mozilla doesn't seem to align them.

also blewy, wouldn't it be quicker if we had them in .txt format?

Load time makes little difference for me.

LOL I kicked arse with my OD side, How funny is that... traded half the team away and didn't sign anyone particularly for OD and still destoryed all commers....

... Yet I work my butt of for the Four Day side with just a couple of guys still there, and I struggle to a extent  - Must be somthing wrong with that.

Sorry I can't keep it in anymore, Haha unlucky Simon!!!! :saint:  :P

amd Blewy with a S/R of 50+ in one day takes a 5 wicket haul for hardly anything... - Intresting

some well not so great results for me.

a few points though.
the number of 6's hit seems a little random, although it is consistant through individual games. in alot of games i think there should be one or 2 more.

Economy rates i think are a litttle off - my team had K Daly who has an OD eco rate of 3, he went for 41,45,41 a little high, not sure if it was just those games or what...

also there seems to be an awful lot of single figure scores, it almost seems like in alot of the games players make single figures or at least 30.

on my OD side, looking at it, its incredibly strong i dont think it would lose to most sides, particularly (no offense ofcourse) but div 4 and 5 OD teams, i mean we got hammered by Guyana and ND, than Guyana got beaten by WA whos bowling isn't really that comparible to mine from memory.

I was waiting for that :( :(
Once again im not worried, because my final side is quite different to that one, ive now traded away the expensive Liptrott, and gotten a good one day batsman, i expect to be one of the better 1d sides in WCC by the end of the season.

And Rich, i wouldnt get to ****y, we still play each other in the VB cup ;)

I enjoyed seeing 10 of my 50 overs being bowled by regular bowlers.

Reading precisely nothing into those results :)

I was happy with the one day results winning 2 out of 3. There were some funny performances in there but that's cricket for you. Players play above and below their abilities all the time.

The players selected were very close to my anticipated one day side. I'd probably swap a bowler for a batsman.

The only really weird one I thought was that Brad Hogg played in both 4d and 1d and didn't bowl in any games despite averaging 17 overs a game in 4d matches (this didn't worry me as his strike rate is very poor) and 5 overs per game in 1d. 2 other bowlers were used instead in the 1d games both with 5 overs per game though one has a much poorer strike rate than Hogg (59 vs 45).

Other than that I'm happy with how the sim is going.

I had the same problem with Hogg last season using VC4, he played all the 1d games and bowled in about 2 of them!
Sims just must not like him ;)
