Trueman didn't play enough overseas relative to other top ATG bowlers but I don't think touring India and Pakistan back then would have made much if any difference. The 1958/59 Australia tour was perhaps his big miss but ultimately the big miss was missing so many games.
also got some really flat pitches in comparison to those who came before him.

Indeed, @capt_Luffy and me place him over Chappell.
Think I said this once and probably wouldn't make sense to most.

But I've watched Sachin, Lara, Punter, quite a bit of old stuff on Chappell, and there's always that something.

Even with Smith you get the feeling you're watching something, someone special. Ugly as ****, but special.

I root for Joe when he's batting, but I've seldom had that feeling.

I guess it's the same with his catching, hell end up up there, but he's not close to elite level.

One of the most overrated English cricketer and one of the most underrated English cricketer...... The overrated just takes it
Freddie is definitely underrated by nerds on this site but I won't call Kenny overrated, that's pretty harsh on the dude. (cannot believe I didn't make this joke the first time).
