Sorry to hear that James. I hope all goes well, you were a great member of the forums in your short stay who provided us with some great posts. As Brumby said, it was a real treat having someone with first-hand viewing of the past greats visit these boards and write about them. Get well mate.

Very sad to hear that, James. Like many others I have very much enjoyed your unique and interesting insights into some of the past greats. Despite a relatively low post count, this board is all the richer with your presence. Having read this web page, one is justified in feeling confident that you may well have many productive years ahead of you.

:)

Whatever it takes!!!
Get well soon, James. I have seen a couple of my friends fight cancer and get cured. I hope and pray that you will, as well. :)

Sorry to hear that, James. Haven't interacted you, nor read many posts of yours, since I hardly come to Cricket Chat. But it's terrible to hear what you're going through. I hope you recover as soon as possible, all the best.

EDIT: Wow, just read some of your posts. As well as your "A Great Decade of Cricket". Truly awesome.

Very sorry to hear the news James, I wish you all the best in recovering. It was often great to read your posts as it's probably the first time we've had someone who's seen Bradman & the like first hand and you had a better insight into that then any of the rest of us. All the best with your health.

Most people before this have summed up my feelings well, it's great to read some of your thoughts and memories on the greats of yesteryear and what they brought to our great game. Your memories helps bring why we all love this game so much to light and we should thank you for that.

Hope you recover fully and are able to contribute some more at some stage so we can hear some more of your stories. :)

Terrible news - it was very interesting reading your posts (especially as you're the only forum member who has seen the loikes of Bradman and Weekes first hand.

All the best with your recovery. :)
