If it didnt happen many a people will have scored more points as lot had a raikkanon alonso 1 -2 which would have given them 20 points which ended as only 5 points

unlucky for Kimi, only had to hold on for one more lap, but what about DC, 4th!!!!! if he didnt get that drive through penalty he would have been challenging for a podium, a great race from him...

I'm still first? It was an incredible fluke for me to lead for one week, let alone keep it...although I'll count myself lucky with Alonso taking the lead on the last lap to get me some extra points.

they had to go for the win didnt they. there was never any chance they were going to bring him in, in hinsight they made the wrong choice, but they would have looked great had Kimi made it to the end and won...

I thought it was fairly obvious he'd not make it - especially having to defend against Alonso as well.

Aside from the points issue, there's also safety that needed considering.

if he had made the pit stop early may be from 7 laps to go he could hvae atleast got 5 points by finishing 4th

yeh but they were going for the win, imo it was worth the risk to close the gap to alonso in the championship and get another win rather than give themselves no chance of closing the gap by taking a 3rd or 4th place...
