I have question marks over Friesacher, Monteiro, Karthikeyan, Villeneuve, Klien and perhaps Sato.
Most of those guys have had 1 race, too hard to tell, Villeneuve is imo the only driver that could beat schumi with all things equal, maybes hes not quite as good as he used to be, but hes still an excellent driver. Sato is good value, hes fast, perhaps reckless, but there will be days when he comes off and wins grand prix.
Klien id have to say doesnt deserve a drivein front of Luizzi this year. time will tell, but id be surprised if he lasts all 19 races...

Wasn't it Spain when he finished second despite being stuck in fifth gear for the second half of the race?
Jv won spain '97 and schumi won '96 in the monsoon so i'm not sure which one your talking about.

Really stretching it saying JV could beat schumi all things equal, he had 2 good years in a superior adrian newey williams. As for the other drivers with 1 race i was referring to their mediocre lower formula performances blocking the likes of Liuzzi and Davidson.

Jordan really have gone backwards since Fisichella's win at Interlagos. Gone are the days when HHF was in with a chance of the titleI don't know about Karthikeyan buying his way into F1, if they really were into the money then Enrique Bernoldi would still be around. Has Jos Verstappen retired yet because I thought he was a VERY good driver.

Jordan were crap when fisichella won that race, they started going backwards a bit before that... with Eddie Jordan selling the side to that russian dude, i think theres some home for the future for that team...

*Fondly remembers Bernoldi blocking Coulthard for twenty laps at Monte Carlo*

'Twas 1994.

Turns out my memory has made it sound better than it was, because it doesn't look like a single other decent car finished!

Would have all depended on his start whether he or Schumacher won.

Has anyone here ever read Schumie's secret diaries? I used to read them regularly last year, but unfortunately can't find the website anymore. He is really, really very funny and nobody escaped. Even brother Ralphie. There was a time last year when it was reported he and Rhalph weren't talking to each other because of an entry in the diaries that Ralph took exception too. I remember reading it. Something about Ralph being a whiney mama's boy when they were kids and getting him into trouble with their Mom all the time and that he's still doing it as an adult
Haven't read them, i have seen some spoof ones that some quy did last year that were quite funny. I have to admit i don't like Ralph though, its not a good combination to have his brothers personality but less than half the talent.

Well we all know how he started that day, his launch control failed.....hence bernoldi!!! I was blooming ****ed off that day, Coulthard had been looking good that season and was making ground but after that day it slipt away, was like 2000 again in some ways.

to his defence, he is a better driver than trulli, mind u, trulli is the worst driver on the grid, so that doesnt mean a lot..
