3 new teams in 3 years, all indian teams.
Unlike ICL which is branching out to overseas teams, which is quite a good idea.Very global.

Yeah i agree, IPL needs to think about adding a few overseas teams to add to the overseas viewer interest.

I don't think so. That makes no diff between IPL & Champions League. I feel IPL should have domestic teams from India as it is formed for it. All domestic teams playing one tournament & finalists advancing to the Champions League (Global) makes good sense.

I am happy with IPL stayong for indian teams.Thing is 10 + pros in each side, means IPL will have to sign 30 moe players.
And you will have players like pollock, warne, mcgrath etc who will only play the next 2 years.
The ICL gaininng overseas teams is their concept and it will spread, and will increase the revenue with zee the package sold to those country sides that take place in the future.Very clever marketing by ICL.

The best possible options for new franchises, if they're only Indian. We'd love to see franchises from Baroda and Uttar Pradesh in the scene, or maybe even a Pune franchise. If only...
