Finally my middle order clicks, its great to see Alwis scoring runs and Murali taking wickets. I'm glad i kept faith in those players and didn't drop them.

just the win that was needed. Very shaky 1st innings but a wonderful batting display between Slater and Vaughan and Rogers chipping in as well really turned that match. Long way to go in the season but things are looking promising for survival at least. Now comes the tough part of the draw which should see me sliding back down the ladder with Auckland , ACT , TN and WP still to play to round out the halfway mark.
