yeah they'll get shredded tomorrow but without their world class fight to world class bowling we lose instantly.

that dig in is the best case guptill has made for test recall all summer, as much as you can make that case in an odi.

Johnson's 145km/h left arm orthodox has to be my favourite thing ever. Should do it more often IMO.
Yeah I've only see two international quicks do that heavy undercutting thing without it actually coming out as a slower ball -- he and Michael Kasprowicz. It's always been a much bigger natural weapon to him than trying to swing it back in.

Bracken was better at it than both.

Bracken not only did the same thing, he was better at it.

Bracken rolled his fingers over it like an actual left arm spinner and it came out at 115-120km/hr. Lots of bowlers have done similar things.

Johnson's slingy action means he naturally undercuts the ball a lot of the time; it's very different.
