Whats up with the pitches in this WC? Is the drainage having an adverse effect and drying them out to a point where the surface becomes uneven? Makes for intriguing cricket but simply curious after all the roads England has mostly produced in ODIs

Old Trafford seems to have turned into a turnworm. Even Glen 'Warney' Maxwell got 4 wickets there yesterday.
