I mean you always want a wrist spin option in the squad in the SC irrespective of the format. But the question is, is he considered good enough to play at this level? Not exactly first 11 material but can he come in if there are injuries? If the answer is yes, you always add the wrist spinner to the squad touring the SC. Happy to be proved wrong today, but I think NZ tend to overestimate how much they can get out of Rachin and Phillips. In terms of bowling contribution Sodhi is still better. If not, him find someone else for the subcontinent. Too many pacers in the squad, for these surfaces.
