She sailed round the world in a boat and whilst the media made it sound like she was the only one to have ever bothered with it, there were actually quite a few other women doing the same thing at the same time. Then we went overboard Rule Britannia on it, she got OBE-ed from nowhere and meh, she's now allegedly a national hero.
