Abstain in protest for 1st battle.
McGrath
McGrath over Ambrose, Ikki? I'm abuoy surprised, asI thought you thought McGrath was over-rated? But I suppose it's possible you think Ambrose is over-rated too.

I do think he is slightly overrated in terms of the arguments made for him over others. I still think he is awesome for other reasons. I've said in another thread it seems I don't rate Ambrose as highly as others. I would consider this more even if Donald was here. Baffles me how underrated he is.

Fair enough. I was just interested in where
you were coming from.

Don't have too many qualms with the top 10 really. The placements could be different here and there, but overall the right players made it to the top IMHO. Thanks for running this Stephen, it was fun to take part in.

Interesting to compare that list with other such exercises that have been completed before by CW votes.

Interesting to see that Ambrose, McGrath, Hadlee and Marshall are in the top 5 of all three contests.

There was a definite rise in the stocks of the Pakistani fast bowlers.

I actually made a mistake in the listing of the results, not upholding the 17th-20th place getters correctly. The corrected results read:

Malcolm Marshall
Richard Hadlee
Glenn McGrath
Curly Ambrose
Imran Khan
Waqar Younis
Dennis Lillee
Wasim Akram
Fred Trueman
Sydney Barnes
Joel Garner
Michael Holding
Ray Lindwall
Allan Davidson
Allan Donald
Harold Larwood
Frank Tyson
Andy Roberts
Shaun Pollock
Keith Miller
George Lohmann
Shane Bond
John Snow
Jeff Thomson
Bob Willis
Courtney Walsh
Neil Adcock
Brian Statham
Maurice Tate
Dale Steyn
Ian Botham
Wes Hall
Peter Pollock
Fazal Mahmood
Alec Bedser
Frederick Spofforth
Jack Gregory
Mohammad Nissar
Bruce Reid
Jason Gillespie
Kapil Dev
Jack Cowie
Ian Bishop
Shoaib Akhtar
