Edwin van der Sar or Maik Taylor would be the best bets.

i avoided getting chelsea players as i dont know how often they will play, particulary the strikers, i would have loved to have kezman, but i dont think its worth it with godjohnsen, drogba and Mutu also expecting regular games.

Robben was the same, hes vying with duff for the spot on the left, but im expecting rotation again with the chelsea players...

The rest don't look too bad?Can't help being biased.Anyway, yeah Chelsea's a real problem.With so many good players there's a lot of squad rotation so you can't name them as captain or expect points from them every game.That's why i just put one who looks to be getting some starts based on what i've seen of him.Ronaldo's going to play most of the time so he's easy and goalies seldom get changed.

Make someone else your captain. Whoever will get you the most points. Norwich's defence is going to be leaky and there's not much point doubling Green's points if there isn't much to double!

If a captain does indeed still double a players pointsa s it did last season?

Captain does score double - guess that that is just the default selection.

i made emmo my captain, he had the 2nd most amount of assists in the premiership last season, and could score well again i think....
