No. 66 ODIs isn't really enough to judge a player on, IMO.
Well, considering that England hasn't produced a Viv Richards or a Sachin Tendulkar (or even a Zaheer Abbas or a Brian Lara) in ODI cricket, one might consider amazing performances in 66 ODIs enough to be compared to any English ODI batsman in history...Again, I agree it is purely subjective...

Having recently had to spend quite a bit of time pondering this for the Mystery Draft, I re-endorse my comment of 14 months ago, but remove the qualification. It's Pietersen, then daylight, then Tresco/Knight/Lamb for mine all in a group.
