Two quick lucky wickets for Harmison have rocked Sri Lanka - such a shame that Solanki grassed Jayasuriya too.
no real need to even mention 'lucky'..we all know all of Harmisons wickets are lucky..so when harmison takes wickets they are lucky wickets... :D :D :D

Got to fancy England for comprehensive victory now. I wonder how it might have been different if Murali had been playing. We'll never know though. :D

Yes, out for 39.

Another failure for TEC to log, I suppose (or is that Richard? I get so confused nowadays).
not a failure, not a success, certainly looks to be in better form now, hopefully we see him convert these scores into big ones when he gets the chance......australia is next.

Well the rain came down and ended the match, the result wasn't going to be any different though, England through to the semis

Dont hold out much hope for us against the Aussies though. We might have a chance if we win the toss but we're not very likely to do that with Vaughan are we?

Ignoring all this 'success' and 'failure' tosh, 39 is certainly above par. Shame the game was rained off tho in the end, now we'll get all the stupid headlines saying how rain got England into the semis when in fact the conditions over the 2 days stuffed England somewhat.

I would say it was a success, especially in the context. And the fact that he looked like he was in control of the bowlers was good
