but you could well be right

IDK he always seemed a cut above your standard English medium-pacer. Even before touring Australia he could get genuinely excellent bounce, for example.

Seam bowlers can do fine here, like Fraser in 94/95, it's the swing bowlers who really struggle. He's tall and very accurate, which helps.

The pitches last Ashes were the most seam friendly I've ever seen here overall by a huge distance. Furthermore, he's quicker than that when fit, he was low 130s and occasionally faster in the English season. That's fine, Tremlett was generally around that pace in 10/11.
