There's plenty still saying it - and they will continue to do so for at least the next 12 months.Tom Halsey said:Lol at all these people saying Harmison was crap before that 7-12.
Hmm, maybe we were saying he was crap for a reason? Because largely beforehand he was bowling the biggest load of dross an England player has ever bowled since Nasser Hussain bowled in Durban...Tom Halsey said:Lol at all these people saying Harmison was crap before that 7-12.

Gower and Lohmann![]()
Yeah, totally agree twctopcat. I think it's very much a personal thing and, in my opinion, that would be my All-Time England XI. Obviously people are going to disagree and have their own opinions.twctopcat said:Your point being??
Gower was one of the best strokeplayers that England have ever had and although Lohmann didn't have the longest of careers, well, look at his stats. I know that stats shouldn't be the only basis of judgement but in his case they are quite special.
Just because you don't agree with the selection doesn't mean it's wrong.
I will go with that. Yes he has improved a helluva lot. He is no Larwood thoughLangeveldt said:Hmm, maybe we were saying he was crap for a reason? Because largely beforehand he was bowling the biggest load of dross an England player has ever bowled since Nasser Hussain bowled in Durban...

I think that with the top order's strength, we can afford to pick the best possible wicketkeeper, the one whom Evans kept out by being a better batsman.
Cheers,
