Draft - your selection must have a batting average close to the previous player's selection

No I do not want to pick Ravi Shastri, go away.

(I saw Trumper too but I would actually have picked Shakib before him.)
Make that two (I didn't see Trumper either, but there was a much better all rounder than Shakib on offer).

Ah ****, I missed him, I filtered only for the top 50 guys by runs. Yeah, definitely would have taken him.

Yeah. Maybe I'm a bit cautious but I wouldn't have used my wildcard at any point that one has been used so far. ATG players within range!
Share that caution wouldn't want to be too handicapped on other people's selections later in draft if avoidable - having said that such caution means likes of Hadlee and Imran Khan aren't available. Will be interesting how things develop later on when those with bowling options might want an extra batsman and those with batting options an extra bowler.

Should have sorted by wickets :).

There was also a gun historical keeper available too. And you were a bees dick away from another all rounder who goes pretty early in drafts as well. But the 20s and 30s are probably the hardest two areas to find good players IMO. Tons of great bowlers <20, tons of great batters >45. Not a huge number between.

But the jump to Imran sacrificed another ATG bowler as well. So don't feel too bad :p

Nah, I would have picked him of course but using it on Gilly is nothing bad in any way + I had the second last turn in the next round anyway, so I am not sacrificing much positioning either.

Yeah, I thought of picking Border (just I thought of picking Hutton in R1 and Procter in R2).
Also, why does the person before me always go for a wild card pick? All those hours of planning down the drain :-D

As I already had the other AB I felt it was a compulsory pick. Also quite enjoy that we had a whole bunch of wild cards and I still ended up with two guys who have an almost identical average.

Clever use of the wildcards by fuller and srbhkshk to not actually lose a position!
