Aamer Jamal. Now that the other Amir is out of retirement, not sure if this Aamer will play but hoping that he at least plays the tests in Q3 after a decent performance in Australia.

Picking up Prathik Athavale (Oman) as the keeper and Aayan Afzal Khan (UAE) as SP. Will do the final FB pick after Kenneth does his fb pick.

My final pick was a tough choice between two kiwi pacers, Ben Sears and Adam Milne. But with Sears playing tests as well while Milne doesn't, taking Ben Sears as my final pick again with an eye on Q3.
I almost picked him ahead of Khawaja but wasn't 100% sure he'd play ahead of O'Rourke, Henry, and KJ if all are fit plus Southee still seems to be in the mix.

Yeah it is definitely a risky pick since there are Milne and Boult too apart from the pacers you've mentioned. Only time will tell if he gets to play in the XI or not.

Ok, how do you guys scout out the Oman players and the USA players or whatever? Is it based on the points they've scored so far or are you all watching games and stuff?

Haven't gone to the extent of watching games. I check the schedule on cricbuzz to see which teams play in q2 and then go to those teams' latest series on cricbuzz to see who did well in that series, and then pick them.

Yeah, more or less the same from me.

I check how many games a nation is due to have in the quarter (Oman with 3 ODIs and 14 T20is were a great option for instance, as were Pakistan with 13 T20is and a possibility of up to 5 more if they finish ahead of Ireland, Canada and the US, as seems probable) and then over to cricinfo for a gander at the stats.

Worth noting I managed to pick up precisely zero Pakistani or Omani players in the draft just concluded...

That's very useful - thanks for the insight! I know very little about international cricket outside of the main teams.
Becareful though, associate nations are notoriously unpredictable in their scheduling, the reason why this Quarter has seen so many associate nation players picked is due to the IPL and T20 WC filling up a big chunk of this quarter which has stopped the majority of test nations from playing big series.
