Pretty sure India did the double pinch hitter thing a few times in the late 90s/early 2000s

This is one I found where Agarkar was at 3 and Harbhajan at 5. Weird non consecutive double pinch hitting

I refer to the Gloucs vs. Kent match this year where Jacob Duffy dismissed 3 nightwatchmen in a single over.

The main takeaway I got from this is that Matt Quinn is still going

so lyon is padded up as nightwatchman now and this is something i've thought about a bit

nightwatchman comes out and quickly is sent back - it seems the general done thing is that the batsman just comes out; but is this right?
What about the scenario where the other batsman gets out. Would one consider sending another night watchman to effectively have meme batsmen at both ends.

England did at Lord's 1985 - they had about an hour to bat at the end of day 3: after about 40 minutes Gooch and Robinson both got out so at close of play Emburey and Allott were batting.

The normal awards that everyone else has
Gillespie was an ideal nightwatchman. For a tailender he had a pretty solid defensive technique

This thread title actually describes a few of NZs opening partnerships of the mid 90s.
