Also didn't want to mention this before Dravid was picked. But allowing Steve Waugh play with Ireland is the same as allowing Dravid to play with Scotland. Both played in similar types of FC/List A matches for those sides, but never in official International type matches.

Have finally understood the rules properly for the first time. Would like to change my pick please, considering Heath hasn't chosen.

A controversial figure for my pick - Ajay Sharma (India)

What a first class record. A real star. The third highest batting average for any player to score over 10,000 runs (66.76) and a useful part-timer bowler (89 wickets @ 30.88)

Shame he was involved in match fixing.

Would've averaged 75 and 25 if he hadn't been

Cricketer Of The Year
His FC bowling average is marginally worse than his Test bowling average but I can't go past Shane Warne (Australia) any longer for my selection. Its a shame I can't select him as a German player...

Derek Underwood (England), debuted in 1963 in both forms. 2nd best FC spinner after after Murali for this era imo. Averaged under 20 in both forms.

I had considered taking Underwood, as his FC record is fantastic - superior to Warne's - but I think I've already picked a few players on stats alone so far.

There a reason why Warne's FC record not great, he never tired, apart from with the bat. Would rather someone that gave a stuff tbh. :p
