Does Shai Hope get into an All-Time ODI XI for West Indies ?

It's not really special. He's a very good player in a bad team but in the context of everyone around the world he's a solid player at best

For me whether or not he gets in the ODI ATG team depends entirely on how good his keeping is. As a batsman he's a long way off the running

It's no secret that Shai Hope had problems with rotating the strike, by extension a problem all our batters have.

But this year especially in the CPL, he appeared to have transformed his game, he looked deadly. A man on a mission.

But before the CPL, he played some good knocks in the Qualifiers. If one man can do all this to improve his game, just think how our outfit would be if the others follow their skipper.

This. He has kept his average up and increased his strike rate to 100 over the last 12 months. If he keeps that up for another year he will deserve to make our ATG ODI side on merit.

100% true. The need is to re-establish schools cricket in the big islands. Make the FC comp top class - good pitches.
T20 will serve to keep the maroon relevant but a strong WI is something I yearn to see again.
