Surely nobody thinks Sam Curran has the "X-Factor"Yeah, I know how well Curran did in the T20 WC. But this is a different format, where I don't think his track record is as strong.
And I'm not sure even in the T20 WC, you could describe him as 'X-Factor'. Although I suppose the term is subjective.
He's being given the moniker Scrappy Doo on another forum I post on. Which I think is very representative of his character.
He's a fighter of a cricketer definitely a punch above his weight instead of the leader/star of the attack
Which is what this thread is asking the question as to who that is for England. Think Wood or Woakes are your better fit on that front. Archer if he was fit.
