VB Cup will definatley be a Mid Week thing next season.....

For the new format, it will have to be otherwise it will not run effectivley...

And at this stage there is no plan to decrease teams, i am happy with the way we are goin, we only need 1 or 2 committed managers with these problem teams and the problem will be solved, They have the ability to become good squads and hopefully with the new managers who will take them over we will see them improve and then become more effective in holding managers....

what about 3 divisions of 10 and to make it more interesting , u could have it like english premier league and the lower divisions, where the top 3 go through and bottom 3 go down and have the next 2 that have to play off for the rigt to get promoted. that way if u are not going to bad and sitting mid table u still have a chance to get promoted but if u let go u may finish in the bottom 3 and get relegated and no one likes to get relegated.

have this for all 3 divisions.

u can play each team once and if u really wanted to u coud have a finals series but i like the promotion relegation and play offs a better system.

that way no matter where u are on the table u must fight to stay or not get relegated or fight for prmotion against the bigger boys

premier league
division 1
division 2

how u would work out the 10 teams is where they finish this season.

so top 6 in div 1 + the top 4 from div 2 = premier league (10 teams)

and so on.

what u guys think.

What i want to know is where has all this talk of changing divisions etc come from???

This season is without doubt the best in accordance to the closeness of games etc, but it is still being talked about as changing...

2 Reasons it won't change...

1/ The sim has just been designed and mouled around the 5 divisions...

and most importantly
2/ Its working the way it is...

its just a suggestion, and with what i have put forward it builds up more rivalry between more sides, at the moment u only have rivalry with 5 teams in each division but with more teams and lesser divisions u would have a good rivalry with more sides and i think that way would see the title come down to the wire instead of 4 weeks out of finishing.

Rivalries don't come just like that...
Alot of the rivalries have come from outside the game....
Look at the come of the rivalries we have now...

Mumbai-Karnataka - Sri and Aditya are mates
Yorks-Leics-Tas - David, Jason and Rich are all mates
Colts-WP - Ian and Andrew are mates

Now im not saying rivalries don't develop but they are more likely to come from outside..

Every season so far we have changed divisions and i want to get settled on a set format...

Season 1 we had 2 Divisions
Season 2 went to 3 Divisions
Season 3 to 5 Divisions

I think 5 has worked and i don't think that it needs changing...

Eyes not spreadsheets
With 5 divisions of 6, every team is still involved in either promotion or relegatoin still with so little of the season left. Under bigger divisions those mid-table sides would've just about stop caring by now

That is not the point I'm trying to make... Tasmania is on top in both of their forms of the game... BUT I am getting a little tired of the game after game... it has become monotious (same as in Season 1, when i came last in Div 1). The season is Too Long!

Yes, we are mates. But no we aren't rivals... David and Jason have played against each other once ever, David and Rich(Paid) have played 5 times this season! and Jason and Me have NEVER played against one another in a official match!
you can not really get a rivaly from not playing each other.

If you're finding it monotonous then leave!

Since we have 30 teams, 5 division of 6 is the logical solution, and it involves every team in either promotion or relegation right towards the end of the season - bigger divisions would not.
