Thanks Lord...Blewy cleared it up for me...lord_of_darkness said:Lol you came back after a long time and saw all the talk about trades and teams squad cuts and thought u were late :P
but infact we still have a long time to go to drafts etc
oh no how long will you be away now ?Gave myself a heart attack!!
But we have no way of knowing how various players will perform in the new sim so how can that be part of our consideration as to who to dispose of from our lineup? The Argonaut said:I will also be interested to see how the new sim affects things with regards to mine and other teams. On first glance it looks like Sriram has done a superlative job and it will take the WCC to a new level as the results will be more realistic. People should take this into effect before deciding on who to keep and who to get rid of.
I remember Blewy running some matches with the new sim and posting them somewhere on this forum......Mr Mxyzptlk said:But we have no way of knowing how various players will perform in the new sim so how can that be part of our consideration as to who to dispose of from our lineup?
Blewy said:Yeah 2 games per team have been done till date, more will be coming shortly...
I will get the other board members to also run a few friendlies for all teams with mixed lineups and post the scorecards on the forum....
We will also have the one day games as well...
I couldn't agree more! The Argonaut said:I am finding the whole issue of the discussion of trades quite useless at the moment. No one really knows what the averages of their players will be for another 6 weeks or so. Trades can't be confirmed until then so why bother. It's a complete waste of time and energy.
Of course with the board arranging these, every team will get the same amount of play, which will be fair.age_master said:cool
Everyone keeps going on how experiance will make an impact on the game, but if a 19 year old avg 55 he can't not score runs IMO.bugssy said:with the new sim the experience of a player also comes into consideration guys
just a hint

Quite frankly it's up to the manager if he does or he doesn't why does everyone need to moan about it? if you don't want to trade then don't... but alot of managers now know excatly what they need and who they want to get rid of, most people are only going for the top players anyway so know that they have perfromed and will be at least similar next season...some of us are willing to take a little risk in bring in a few decent players and afterall until they are confirmed in the thread nothing is certain anyway so we can back out if the star batsman we have lined up get 4 ducks in a row.Originally posted by marc71178I couldn't agree more!
Its not that he wouldnt score runs but cannot perform to his promised potential of 55 at least for some time to come!Rich2001 said:Everyone keeps going on how experiance will make an impact on the game, but if a 19 year old avg 55 he can't not score runs IMO.
