What on Earth is going on here?

With 9 weeks to go everyone's keen to talk trades, so keen in fact that a lot of managers haven't even posted teams.

In my division 4 out of the 6 teams didn't post - so I ask:

"What's the point?"

The point is I was unable to post last night due to a virus, and I didn't have access to the uni labs like I do this morning.

No, I was inspired by Bugssy. He was the one who began it... with his 'manager drops bombshell on NSW players' thread.

Its not too bad i think.As soon as the season ends the draft should start next week so that the time between the end and the start of the seasons is not much.It is easy for the people keeping track of the movement and the database is ready fast.

Ya talks have started a week or 2 in advance.But the thread will open only i think around the vb cup semis.So it can be open till 2 weeks and then one week when the seasons last matches are run all the database is ready and we can start on with draft soon.

Maybe the board want a bit of a longer break so that they don't have to be at everyone's beck and call for 52 weeks a year?

There's always going to be an element of human input, no matter how automated bits are.

For that reason, a break between seasons is needed.

To be brutally honest.... This is a absolutley PATHETIC effort...

I can understand Davids reason as i also had trouble with that bloody annoying bug and that until i fixed all the probs i was unable to stay on the net long enough before getting cut off, But the ammount of forfeits over the last couple of weeks has been ridiculous....

all i did that for was to show what players where going and staying, just because the draft hadnt started doesnt mean i cant show u who was going staying.

reason for doing this was i was sick of getting offers for players that i was never going to let go.

and even after that thread players i wasnt letting go , i was still getting offers for.
if i new it was going to cause so much controversy i would not have posted.

i thought i new u guys better than that!

No Eyes, the Draft doesn't start for a while yet, still have a few rounds in both 1d and 4d as well as the VB Cup final rounds...

The final team selections are done after the last ruond so plenty of time...
