A passport is a passport. And indeed his name is properly Dutch.Makes up for not having grown up in the Netherlands with an awesome name.![]()
He's 32.young Dirk.
Doesn't look it; and probably has more years in him seen he never played cricket til his late 20'sHe's 32.
Doesn't have a smooth action though, body will deteriorate fast. And when he loses his pace in his mid-30's he won't have much. Nowhere near consistent enough to make it as a stock 135kph outside off bowler.Doesn't look it; and probably has more years in him seen he never played cricket til his late 20's
Indeed, a lot of late swing too. Nannes has a genuine chance to impress on the world stage, considering he has played a great deal of cricket in England and although he has a fine OD and FC record, T20 appears to be his game...Bowls genuinely quick.
Been playing for a long time, just never took it seriously until his skiing subsided.Doesn't look it; and probably has more years in him seen he never played cricket til his late 20's
Even if thats true (and Ive only seen him bowl a few times so I dont doubt it), he is still a great addition at Associate level for years to come.Doesn't have a smooth action though, body will deteriorate fast. As evidence, his nickname is "Cyclone" and was taken off earlier in the season for bowling 3 beamers (IIRC, they were all in a single over).Even if thats true (and Ive only seen him bowl a few times so I dont doubt it), he is still a great addition at Associate level for years to come.
Two beamers and a thigh high full toss, the first three balls of a Sheffield Shield game vs Western Australia. As evidence, his nickname is "Cyclone" and was taken off earlier in the season for bowling 3 beamers (IIRC, they were all in a single over).
that is correct. That's assuming you don't successfully hunt down Essucker's batting all-rounder first.
