Diminishing Draft

@Line and Length here's the rule (no)
I don't think that ruling applies literally otherwise we would have been selecting 2 openers then a #3, a # 4 etc down to the #7. Similarly bowlers would be occupying 8-11 in order taken meaning Andeson would be batting at #8 if Warne or Murali hadn't been selected. I'll wait for @CricAddict 's final ruling and can always revert Flintoff to a bowling selection if the adjudication is "no".

Hi L&L, what ataraxia said is right. Within the 7 batsmen that you select, you can place them at any positions from 1-7 and within 5 bowlers that you select, you can place them anywhere from 7-11. So, if you are choosing Flintoff to a bowling selection, then you can place him anywhere below Botham but otherwise, you can't. Hope this clarifies.

Please confirm if you are taking Flintoff on batting or bowling.

Thanks for the ruling. I thought that was the case. I'll stick with Flintoff as a batsman (though Beefy might be p*ssed at having to bat after Freddy).

Round 11 will start at 8 AM GMT (1:30 PM IST, 5 PM JST, 8:30 PM NZDT) post the day that Round 10 gets over.

It will be fastest fingers first. Hence, whoever gets their post first will get the player in case of a clash.

Drafters are requested to post their full team along with a small write-up if possible once the 11th player pick is done.

I'll take Andrew Flintoff as a batsman (3845 runs).

Question: When naming my final batting order, am I allowed to move a selected batsman (like Flintoff) below a selected bowler (like Botham)?
No. Batsmen have to be 1- 6 or 7, and bowlers are 7 or 8 - 11 . It's the way to keep people from bending the intention of the restriction with their picks.
