Agree this is the best thing for Indian cricket atm, but why now and not the end of the series? Some sort of niggle perhaps?
He's finally at ease now that he's proven that the leg slip tactic works

Could this mean India may finally succumb to DRS? Or is that more a BCCI decision than Dhoni's?

it was more tendulkar than dhoni :)..sure its the BCCI at the end ..would love kohli to speak for it and we use it at least for the most obvious ones like the inside edges and the out side stump calls

Think if he retires from ODIs after WC, he'd do it the same way, be far too much pressure on him and side doing it beforehand.

Looking forward to:

"Virat, you've won the toss. Do you want to bat or bowl?"

"BC, main toh fielding karunga!"

(I want to field, assface!)

Lol, do you think they'll only agree to some sort of hybrid version of DRS then, different to what the other sides play under?

Surely if they subscribe to it, they'll have to accept it the way it is wouldn't they?

Whatever happened to Parthiv Patel - I remember his debut - was going to be the Indian 'keeper for years as I understood it - looked promising too

It is Bcci decision led by Srinivasan. Dhoni was just being a psycophant.

Maybe Kohli speaks more and puts pressure.

is a psycophant someone who remorselessly and relentlessly agrees with you in a really manipulative, cold way

The Faisal Khan of Indian cricket.

Nice parallel too where he actually fulfills his 4-0 revenge story arc, guns, toilet seat and everything and then his own man scores three centuries in three tests and takes over mid-series in the next chapter.

I don't know if he was one of the greatest but indubitably one of the most significant characters in the history of Wasse Indian Cricket.

Australia has been a real graveyard for experienced cricketers in the past 13 months. Trott, Swann, Pietersen, Dhoni.

A real shame; always a great player to watch in full swing.
