**Dev League Season 7**

Always disappointing to lose but to firstly keep the Aus 'A' to 180 odd and then getting what we did after being 18/4 wasn't to bad. Lord was solid as a rock yet again and Bob continued his good form with the bat. Meanwhile Rose, Timewell and David Jr. done well picking up two wickets each.

Now personally...think i'm starting to get a bit tired after a big first season of CW cricket, with my OD and 25Smash performances being well below average. I actually expected that i would have been dropped from the 25Smash squad a while back, but have been happy with the faith that the selectors have shown in me.

As a squad we will be heading into a difficult period with quite a number of our top players away on CW duty alot of us second teir players will need to stand up and it starts this on friday with the start of the five day game against England A which will see us without LoD, Bob and Rose.

So guys lets hit the nets hard and take to England A like a Hurricane...

No laddie you misunderstood me. I meant pray that we might do well in spite of another injury to the team.

Anyways we alot to do still.... we are still struggling for a win.
We are like WI we get in a good position and then find a way to lose the game. Well we're not as bad as WI its become their trademark somewhat now.

GO REAPERS GO!
Ohhhh, ok. I'll pray that we do well, too.

Reapers? Hmmmm...I like it

GO REAPERS!!!!!!!!!!!

My thoughts exactly. :( I don't think it was about catches as much as it was about our batting just falling apart before it had time to regroup. Gutted that I got myself in just to get myself out...

CRICKET WEB BLUE 169/2 21.0 overs

Cricket Web Blue won by 8 wickets

Man of the match: Broncoman

Daily Blast Comment: A HUGE win for Blue, getting some revenge for the basting that the Aussies gave them earlier this season in 25Smash. Once again Tom Halsey was the pick of the bowlers, but it was the explosive batting of Broncoman and Craig that really did the trick. Fantastic win.

I'd like to congratulate Håkon on his excellent 0* off 4 balls at the end there. Well bowled, Mr Blaster.

Anyhow, with three Internationals in the top three, I'm looking out at nets next week for some people to stand up and make a claim for the top order spots over the ODI tournament.

The march continues on Blues.

Haven't had to show my Richardson-esque 25Smash abilities yet which is due to the stunning form on the top 5. Plus excellent work by the bowlers to set a makeable target.

:)

Crikey, every batsman over 100% strike rate and nobody got out for less than 40, with sixes and fours... and still not spectacular. :p This is the only problem I have with our result - the daily blast. ;) Great stuff, guys, a nice win and an all round great effort. :)

I don't know the exact squad yet, but it's almost certain that we'll lose Rich2001, Eclipse, Ash and myself.

Boo hoo hoo hoo, I can't contain my anguish for those poor Blacks as they've lost all their best players.

With a glance at the potential ODI squad, a couple of domestic teams will have their depth tested and another will probably gain some ground...

Great win Green, Great batting and bowling, even without taking many wickets bowlers still kept the economy down, Hoy's 5 overs 1/20 and Rose's 0/22 from 5 killed off any attack they made.

the game was set up with the batting however, The openers scdored quickly and set the innings up - Cloete capatalised with a very solid 50, and Blewy did the right thing with the 2 balls he faced :)

Lets keep the momentum going fella's and get ourselves some trophies :)
